Why Made for More Exists
We created Made for More because too many beauty and wellness professionals are carrying more than they were ever taught how to carry. With burnout at an all-time high and the industry rapidly changing, many professionals are doing deeply meaningful work without the support needed to sustain it.
Made for More is a formation-centered platform led by Emilene Anna, Nina Holmes, and EmmyLou, guiding beauty and wellness professionals through seasons of building and breaking so they can create income with integrity and impact—without losing their health, faith, or calling. While this work applies to anyone who serves others, our focus is on the salon, spa, and wellness industry. Whether you own a salon, rent a chair, teach classes, or hold sessions, people bring you their stories, stress, grief, and becoming every day.
We are passionate about honoring your gifts—and teaching what the industry never did: who is caring for the caretaker, how to process emotional and energetic exchange, how to build sustainable income without burnout, how to navigate seasons of breaking and rebuilding, and how to create a future with options.
The Mask & The Mirror exists because beauty and wellness professionals live at the intersection of intimacy and performance. We work with masks and mirrors every day—both the ones we see and the ones we wear. In holding space for others, we often put ourselves last, carrying emotional, energetic, and physical weight we were never taught how to release.
What if burnout isn’t a failure, but a signal? What if exhaustion isn’t because you chose the wrong path, but because you were never supported in the right way? This series invites you to gently take the mask off, look honestly in the mirror, and gain clarity around what you’re carrying—learning how to support your body and nervous system, move through seasons of building and breaking with alignment, and explore sustainable ways to create income and impact without losing your health, faith, or sense of self. This isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about becoming whole.
Made for More speaks to your calling, not comparison. It reflects the quiet knowing that many of us carry, that we were created for meaningful work, depth, and lives that align with our values.
The Made for More: The Mask & The Mirror series unfolds across four intentional gatherings designed to support real, sustainable change.
We begin with Overcoming & Preventing Beauty Burnout, where we explore burnout through the lens of the mask and the mirror — understanding the physical, emotional, and energetic weight carried in service-based work, and why exhaustion is often a signal, not a failure.
In the second workshop, Clearing the Chair, we focus on energy hygiene, boundaries, and client exchange, learning how to release what we absorb so we can serve others without depletion.
The third workshop, More Than “Just” a stylist centers on worth, identity, and redefining success during sacred transitions — especially in seasons of growth, refinement, or uncertainty.
We close with Creative, Not Cornered, a conversation around financial freedom, aligned income, and backup plans that allow you to care for your guests well while also caring for your future.
Throughout the series, we are creating a safe, grounded space for you to finally take your mask off, release what you’ve been holding, and reconnect with the version of you that was always meant to thrive.

In our work, Beauty is not what we finish with, it is where we begin how to live in alignment with our needs, wants and desires to build, live sustainable wholesome, happy and healthy lives.

What do we all have in common? We are, first and foremost, midlife mothers. We came together with a shared passion to feel our best, and God placed in our hearts a calling to serve others. We hold common values and steady morals — Faith First, Family, and an authentic desire to serve. With a combined 60 years of experience across businesses, salons, yoga studios, and mortgage lending, we bring a grounded, lived-in blend of skills and wisdom. Together we offer a heartfelt approach to living and leading our best lives, focused on meaningful impact and a lasting legacy.
Emilene Anna
In a world of surface-level connection, Emilene Anna embodies deeper, holistic wellness. Replace "Beauty" with "Love." With two decades as a Beauty & Wellness Artist, she blends spirituality and care into her work. As founder of Driftless Retreats, she transforms spaces into soul sanctuaries. Her salon chair became ministry—offering unconditional love across 20,000+ one-on-one connections. These centers cultivate authentic community, inviting all to belong through transition and transformation.
Emilene excels in communication, empathy, and intuition. She provides nurturing individual sessions, group work, retreats, and many services. As a Certified Sister Circle Coach, she guides spiritual and professional growth with wisdom and grace.
She is an inspiring author who creates lasting impact. She provides world-class nutrition and wellness products and helps women entrepreneurs expand income through a complete beauty and wellness system.
Despite many accolades, Emilene finds her greatest joy in family. A devoted mother of four, she embodies beauty and fulfillment. Her family is her sanctuary; motherhood is her greatest love.
