A guiding presence with roots in two homes.
Originally from Kosovo and raised in Mladenovac, Serbia, Divna is the youngest of eight children. Her early life was shaped by family, faith, resilience and the experience of building a new future after moving to La Crosse with her husband, Dragan.
Yoga became a path of reconnection that eventually led her back to Serbia for deeper study. She completed 200 hours of yoga training with Dragan Lončar and continued with another 300 hours in an ashram setting. Her work grew to include yoga, meditation, sound, Tai Chi, Reiki, mentorship and retreat facilitation.
Divna helped open Lipa Yoga Studio in La Crosse and created a bridge to yoga education and retreat experiences in Serbia. Her teaching carries cultural depth, warmth and a calming ability to help people slow down enough to hear what is within.
Today, Divna remains an important teacher and guiding presence within Lipa’s story, while the La Crosse studio continues through its collective of owners, instructors and members.
